Xiaomi Mi3 Mobile Review

The Xiaomi Mi3 is the top selling phone of the largest smartphone company in China, Xiaomi. It's beautiful design and easy to use capability makes it a marketable phone. But the biggest asset of this phone is its top-notch android technology. Though its easy to use, it has features that can compete against other top android phone.

Here's what we can say about Xiaomi Mi3:

The phone is really a crowd magnet. One look and you'll be drawn to its great unibody design made of polycarbonate material. Not just the outside, but the inside really looks tempting. The 5" IPS display with 1080p resolution really made the phone's visuals more clearer and graphically look good. Display quality and as well as its sunlight legibility is average. In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Mi3 is packed with the top notch Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM, making the smaetphone perform faster and lag free. When we test it with Antutu Benchmarking, the result is really amazing. It's on the top with Samsung Galasy S5 and HTC One (M8). Check the image below.

In terms of contact management and telephony, you'll be delighted to know that Xiaomi Mi3 has great options to manage your contacts properly. The messaging UI is quite impressive as well. The phone make sure that you'll have no problems in this aspect as it made it simple for you.

Xiaomi Mi 3 also supports voice call recording and it can do it automatically on each call if you like. You can also assign an answer gesture, pre-define quick responses upon reject, there is even support for internet calling. There are even more call settings options for Xiaomi Mi3 like flip to mute the ringer, turn on/off the proximity sensor, lock automatically once slipped in a pocket, it can even mute calls from unknown numbers.

Plus, it has longer battery life than other smartphone with its 3'050 mAH battery. Lastly, you'll get to enjoy hugh quality pixel images and recording as its main camera is build with a 13 megapixel quality.

However, there are some discrepancies on this phone. The beautiful unibody design sacrifices a lot of functionality such as it has no microSD card slot and you'll only rely on its device memory to store files. Also, you can't replace its battery. So basically there's no replacement for overused battery.

We've also tested its speaker loudness and we can say that it's below average. It's not that loud that in open spaces wherein there's soo many sounds competing with your phone, you will definitely missed out calls ornotifications when you don't enable vibration. We rate its audio output quality is mediocre. Also, the video player supports every audio and video codec except for WMV.

Other disadvantages of this phone includes no wired TV-out connectivity option, no 4K video recording and no LTE connectivity which is by far the fastest internet connection today. And lastly, it's only sold online. Most of countries outside China don't sell this phone on their local market. Here in the Philippines, you can have Xiaomi Mi3 though by subscribing to SMART Telecom's data plan 999.

Overall, Xiaomi Mi3 is a great smartphone that at first look, you'll definitely fall in love. The major downside is that its battery is non-user replaceable and the the lack of microSD card slot. If we are to rate Xiami Mi3, then we would give it a beyond average 8 out of 10 rating.popular video games, make money online no frauds, gaming gadgets, tech guides, mobile apps
